About the event

It’s been a rough year, so get out of your bark-a-lounger and join the pack on September 10th for the Going to the Dogs Driving Tour III to benefit the Speedway Animal Rescue!

We’re positive you’ll have a good time.

Event Details

We’ll start our tour at 11:00 am with a hearty meal at the famous Mayberry Cafe, located at 78 W Main Street in Danville.

Tour Highlights

Then we’ll meander to the beautiful Bridgeton Covered Bridge for ice cream, where you can soak your dogs in Big Raccoon Creek.

After that, we’ll take a dog-leg to Rockville to see the Billie Creek and Beeson Covered Bridges.

We’ll drive through Clinton Falls, where you’ll pass a small waterfall, three walking path bridges, and one made of iron beams. In Clinton Falls, you’ll also see a very talented artistic welder and the Clinton Falls weather stations.

When you finish the drive, make sure to give your partner a belly rub.

Support a Worthy Cause

All of the proceeds go to the Speedway Animal Rescue. The money from this tour is for medical bills, boarding, food, and more. Please join us for this worthwhile cause.

Last year, SAR spent more than $23,000 in vet bills alone, including nearly $13,000 for spaying/neutering, vetting, microchipping, vaccinating, and medicating dogs and cats that came into the rescue. Every dollar you contribute helps these unfortunate animals.

Join us during the dog days of summer, and every animal will give you a woof and a lick thank you!

Important Note

ALL MONEY FROM THIS EVENT GOES DIRECTLY TO THE SPEEDWAY ANIMAL RESCUE.
